Live from Mama Dog Studios: Reflections on the Performers

Live from Mama Dog Studios was truly a memorable night in big part due of the talented musicians who graced our sound stage and made the Mama Dog family move to the rhythm.

With members of the Grand Nationxl band backing up each act, the stage was set for a very special night of grooves, jaw dropping vocals and lyrical wizardry.

First, Brookfield Deuce, a founding member of Grand Nationxl, took the stage and shared some tracks from his latest albums Coordinates. The crowd bounced along to Big Ballin’, a song which encapsulates Deuce’s mindset and reflects how everyone in his corner is spiritually, mentally and, in some cases, literally ballin’ out.

Then, Tyler Reese brought the house down with a vocal display we wont soon forget. If you havn’t heard her voice, we suggest you catch her next show or watch the video for her single Second Hand Smoke. She is truly an ascending star and her performance moved us to our core.

Live from Mama Dog Studios Alum, Kevin Allen, brought back the groove, sharing the stage with collaborator Dame Drummer. He rose the crowd to their feet and kept them there, performing hit after hit. We are honored to have Kevin as an returning member of the Live from Mama Dog Studios family and cant wait to have him back for a third time.

Finally, the night came to a close with a poignant performance from Sol Development. They expressed a message of love, emphasizing the healing effects of connecting through music on the soul of a community. Their care for their craft and jaw dropping vocal harmonies wrapped the evening in style and left us feeling revived.

We cant wait for the next Live from Mama Dog Studios, but until then, keep an eye out for the video of the event, you wont want to miss it.
