Live From Mama Dog Studios: Reflections on our Speakers

Live from Mama Dog Studios was honored to host a variety of notable speakers who were kind enough to share their stories.

Pendarvis Harshaw, host of Rightnowish on KQED and author of OG Told Me, shared how his early aspirations of being a rapper lead him to writing about current events through hip hop history and culture from his unique perspective.

Charlyn Villegas, Co-Founder of Four Winds Creative, revealed that starting her own production company was, initially, a risky venture in the world of Silicon Valley. But after finding success, she now uses her platform to help empower young women in the Bay Area Film Industry.

Joshua Neal is a household name in TikTok circles, so we were honored he invited us to take a look behind the scenes, detailing his process, grind, and long road to becoming a social media superstar. We’re excited to see what he does next!

Dr. Felicia Gangloff-Bailey taught us about the process of healing through her experience as an Angel Mother and shared how her podcast, Sol Affirmations, can transform the conversation around how we heal ourselves and our communities.

Stay tuned to hear about our incredible musical acts!
