A Very Special Listening Party: Every Blue Moon

Mama Dog Studios’ sound stage transformed into the tranquil, blue control deck of a spacecraft traveling through each track of Mani Draper & Kevin Allen’s new album, Every Blue Moon.

Made in collaboration with Bay Area production super team, The Whoadies, Mani and Kevin crafted a deeply thoughtful album containing a series of new original songs and remixes of prior tracks. Every Blue Moon features Oakland based artists Brookfield Deuce, Jane Handcock and the group Grand Nationxl (which both album authors are founding members of). Yacht Water, a popular track off of Mani Draper’s recently debuted album, 33, is notably remixed by Bay Area legend Rex Life Raj in reimagining aptly titled Yacht Water 2.0.
